Wendy Woods, M.B.A

Wendy Woods brings over a decade's worth of corporate training and coaching experience specializing in Leadership and Resilience. By focusing on Emotional Intelligence, Mindfulness and Neuroscience, she helps her clients leverage their time, increase their effectiveness, and achieve better results.

Prior to Watershed, Wendy worked for leading Bay Street companies such as Dynamic Mutual Funds, Richardson Greenshields and RBC Dominion Securities. She has her Honours B.A. in Psychology, an M.B.A., a Certificate in Adult Education, a Certificate in Applied Mindfulness Meditation, and a license in Emotional Intelligence (MHS).

With an extensive 20+ year brand, marketing, and communications background, Sophie’s has held various public facing roles leadership positions managing people, media, and brands for global brands such as NIKE, American Express, and Habitat For Humanity prior to creating her collaborative coaching and professional development practice.

William H. Smalley, MBA, CSP

Bill honed his leadership and communication skills in a 30 year career in B2B, consumer marketing, domestic and international sales. An award winning expert in marketing strategy and business development he has held management positions in the building materials, promotion, and telecom industries. His international experience includes business development work in the Middle East and Asia.

Bill teaches negotiation skills at the University of Toronto and has been featured on CBC Marketplace as a negotiation consultant. He is also the author of "Intelligent Selling(tm)" a next generation sales process based on collaboration.

Oktay Kesebi

Oktay is a senior marketing and innovation strategist helping organizations succeed and thrive in today's and tomorrow's competitive multicultural landscape. With over a decade of experience, he has worked for leading global companies such as Adobe, Telus, Digital Vision, Now Public, ACD Systems, and ATB Financial helping them to seize new market opportunities.

As an accomplished educator, Oktay has taught marketing, e-commerce, Web 2.0 technologies, project management and digital design at a number of leading schools including the Vancouver Film School, The Alberta College of Art and Design and The University of Lethbridge. Currently he is completing his Master's degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation at OCAD University.

Liz Oke

Liz is a strategic change agent and coaches marketing teams through strategy, process and implementation. She draws on an impressive portfolio of professional knowledge in her training, including digital marketing strategy, measurement of online properties, project management, SEO, social media, website rebuilds and content marketing. Liz holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Mount Allison University, a certificate in Design from Humber College and a certificate in E-Business and Web Marketing from the University of Toronto.

Liz also teaches Foundations of Digital Marketing at University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies and serves on the Advisory Board at McMaster University’s Centre for Continuing Education. Liz provides objective advice and education on the best approach businesses should take, depending on their industry, target market and product. Liz coaches businesses in making important choices with their marketing.

Dr. Horatio Morgan
Associate Professor of Global Management, Ted Rogers School of Management
Ryerson University

Dr. Horatio Morgan is an Associate Professor of Global Management at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. His research interests include international entrepreneurship with a focus on immigrant entrepreneurs. Specifically, he evaluates immigrants’ contributions to the development, innovation performance, internationalization and success of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises.

Dr. Morgan's work has been published in internationally recognized academic journals, and major industry reports in collaboration with the Conference Board of Canada and others. Based on his research and expertise, he has substantially contributed towards evidence-based policy-making aimed at incorporating Canada's diverse immigrant communities in its export promotion agenda.

Moustafa Fouad
Contracts Specialist
Johnson & Johnson

Moustafa is a Contracts Specialist at Johnson & Johnson, he manages commercial sales proposals for medical devices. He is also a certified mindfulness meditation practitioner from the University of Toronto and the founder of www.themindfulpractice.com.

Prior to his current role, Moustafa worked as a Proposal Specialist at General Electric, and is a past board member of Working Skills Center a non-profit organization that empowers immigrants by providing skills training, work experience, and settlement services.

Before moving to Canada in 2009, Moustafa lived in Egypt where he worked as an account manager at Ogilvy & Mather and later as a brand manager at Unilever. He holds a BA in Business Administration and an MBA in marketing.

Rohini Dhowan
CIBC Customer Marketing

Rohini has over 8 years of marketing and communications experience in Financial Services and CPG Marketing. She graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Prior to being in Canada, she has worked in India and the UK.

Her education spans over 5 countries at various levels giving her a unique perspective of adapting to new cultures and working with a diverse team. She is actively involved with several charities and is an advocate of diversity in the workplace.

Maureen Shuell
Communications Consultant

Maureen Shuell is a bilingual communications’ strategist with 25 years of experience in senior political and not-for-profit roles leading communications’ strategies, government relations’ projects, large-scale conferences, events and trade shows. She has prepared delegations for meetings with elected officials, held media events on Parliament Hill, and managed large-scale digital projects.

For 12 years, she was Director of Communications for the Canadian Urban Transit Association. In 2012, she founded the consulting firm, RendezVous Communications with a focus on Bringing People and Ideas Together through integrated issues management, marketing, media relations, social media, government relations' strategies and meeting facilitation.

Samuel Balzan
Senior Client Executive for North America

Samuel is a Senior Client Executive for North America with Dassault Systemes, leading transformational software and services transactions in the consumer business and finance industries. With more than 25 years of sales and marketing management experience, Samuel's career has spanned multiple industries and geographies.

Prior his current role, moved from France and started in Canada at SAP, Riva Modeling Systems and Oracle where he gained increasing responsibilities. Samuel earned an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and lives in Toronto with his wife and his three kids sharing travelling and sport activities at his spare time.

Winnie Biala Mittal

Winnie is a passionate marketer at heart with over 10 years of experience across various industries including Telecommunications, Retail, Financial & Consumer Packaged Goods, in both Hong Kong & Toronto. Having born & raised in Hong Kong to Indian parents, and then having the opportunity to study at the University of Toronto, she has embraced the diversity of the Chinese, Indian & Canadian cultures.

She has been able to share such knowledge as she worked across various multi-million dollar brands such as Walmart, Motrin & Smirnoff. In her current role at Telus, she continues on that journey of building her multicultural experience.
